Welcome to SommiT Ireland!
SommiT Ireland is a three-day assembly of Food and Wine enthusiasts both consumer and professional.
We offer a forum to taste Ireland’s food and wine present, and talk about the future.
The event began in Waterford in 2022, however in MAY 2026 SommiT is moving to DROGHEDA in the heart of Ireland’s ancient East, the Boyne Valley.
County Louth, the smallest county, is proud to now be home to the largest planting of Vitis vinifera (wine grapes) in Ireland!
In addition to world class seafood along the coast, farm bounty within the Boyne basin, we see our valley as a model destination for Wine and Food tourism.
There is more to come, we are sure of that.
We look forward to sharing food and wine developments and ideas at SommiT each year.
In the meantime…
We are excited to welcome ALBARIÑO and SANGIOVESE as the SommiT featured grapes for 2026.
